If it was only the circumstances of time period that mattered, why does adultery, homosexuality, and so many other things still stand, though we now have protection against STDs and unwanted pregnancy, and why is slavery outlawed? It would be a good way to erase debts and punish criminals, and even Jesus approved of slavery.
Why pick and choose?

Using your logic, all good Christians should be building arks.
As fun is it would be to see a bunch of landridden boats all over the place, there’s a difference between commands given to Christians overall and commands given to individuals or groups during a certain time period.

And this is all you can give me? Where is your christian education now? What words of wisdom can you give me to back up what you have to say? Are you mad that you don’t have the answers, or are you mad that what I said about the hypocrisy and hate so tightly interwoven in the word of god is true?

And funny that the moment I quote the biblical verse providing the whole ‘christians killed in the name’ AND the justification for it, you switch tactics from christians only killing and hurting others in the name as simply nutjobs or KKK members to then excusing their violent actions by mentioning supposed harm done by wiccans and why god hates them.

Show me historical proof that children and women have ever been burned alive or hung or tortured for the sake of witchcraft, not against it.
Show me historical documented proof that wisemen and healers and shamans in the days of old did NOT devote their lives and their studies and magical prowess to the betterment of those around them in their clans, tribes or villaiges..
Harm to none. Pass no judgement, earth is love and life.. how is that harmful?

‘thou shall not suffer a witch to live’.
What exactly, does that mean if not kill the witch?
Did that mean you politely ignored her and her actions and let her go on her way, or did that mean you gave her the ultimatum of admitting and repenting and being exiled, or getting killed for her crimes against god?
People always argue over what parts of the bible are ‘legit’ and which aren’t, and how each part should be interpreted..
GOD forbid god’s word teaches hatred of those different.

No KKK is not a hate group. It means Kataastaasan-Kagalanggalang na Katipunan. :) It is a revolutionary movement that kicked Spain out of my country. Well almost, Spain sold the country to America before she loses the last fort and the Americans came invading the country afterwards.

A few lunatics did try to deny the holocaust a few years back in front of congress; they were laughed out of Washington.

No, the KKK is a hate group that happen to be, as a majority, Christian (FYI). The people of Salem were very much so Christian; look up John Hathorne, the grandfather to writer Nathaniel Hawthorne (who added a “W” in his last name to distance himself from that whack job of a fanatic). A lot of Christian’s try to deny the witch trials and crusades, just like the Germans deny the holocaust, and the fact that the V-W is a comfortable automobile.

Let’s not forget the crusades, which by the way were totally about trade, but were portrayed as a religious cleansing to get the weak minded fire and brimstone crowd fighting along the corrupt power hungry. I’m sure Jesus Christ’s message would condone slaughter for the greater good of currency? As far as me lacking knowledge in Christ, how so? Are you able to debate that standing up to the Roman empire isn’t a rebellious stance? I’ve been in no “programmed study”, but have attended university level courses regarding history, and in every situation of evil committed on this planet people like yourself are to blame; the weak minded fire and brimstone zealots, the God loving people that burned women alive for witchcraft in Salem MA just to prove they weren’t actual witches.
